    Anfiteatro

Anfiteatro rebranding: logo applied on a building site

    Anfiteatro

A complete rebrand for a construction and energy company: name, symbol, logotype, tagline and colours, all the way to the building site.

    Client
Anfiteatro Sebino 2 S.r.l. · now Anfiteatro Group
    Industry
    Construction · Renewable energy
    What we did
Rebranding · Naming · Logo and tagline · Applications

    The context

A company that had grown beyond construction, into solar and energy. The brand had to show who it is today, not who it was yesterday.

For Anfiteatro Sebino 2 we handled a complete rebrand: an analysis of the existing mark, a simplified name, a new symbol, a custom logotype, tagline and palette, presented in boards that take the client from the first idea through to applications. The goal: a new perception of the brand, truer to what the company really is.

    Anfiteatro rebranding: rebranding brief

    The challenge

    The knots to untie.

    1. 01

      A long, hard-to-read name

The original mark was complicated, lacked impact and was hard to read at small sizes.

    2. 02

      A company that had changed

From construction to renewable energy: the mark had to bring together building, technology and sustainability.

    3. 03

      Legible everywhere

From business card to site hoarding, from hard hat to container: a logo that holds up even in a single colour.

    Tailored solutions

    What we developed.

    1. 01

      Brand analysis

A critical review of the existing logo: superfluous elements, legibility, the character of the symbol.

    2. 02

      Symbol concept

The letter a, the house, the circularity of renewables, bricks, the solar module and the sun’s rays distilled into a single monogram.

    3. 03

      Naming and logotype

The name is simplified to anfiteatro, set in a custom typeface that echoes the geometry of the symbol.

    4. 04

      Tagline

Two versions for the company’s two worlds: Build the future and Energy solutions.

    5. 05

      Colour

An energetic orange paired with black: a mark that works in positive, in negative and in one colour.

    6. 06

      Applications

Business cards, stationery, hard hats, site hoardings and containers: the brand put to the test in the field.

    Our approach

A brand is a system, not just a drawing.

We start from the company’s values and the audience it speaks to, explore several directions and compare them in clear presentations. Once the route is chosen, we build everything needed to use it well: grids and proportions, logo versions, palette, typography, patterns, iconography, tone of voice and usage rules, all collected in a set of guidelines.

    01 · Onda Investment

    Solidity, growth and continuity.

For the investment firm Onda Investment we designed the visual identity and the guidelines that govern its use. The pictogram of overlapping waves expresses steady growth and continuity; institutional blue and taupe beige, with a gold accent, give the brand a sober, trustworthy tone.

    1. 01

      Anatomy of the brand

Pictogram, logotype and descriptor, with proportions and construction grid.

    2. 02

      Four official versions

Institutional, monochrome, white and black, with clear space and minimum sizes.

    3. 03

      Colour and typography

Primary and secondary palettes with values for print and digital; the Onest typeface with a type scale.

    4. 04

      Graphic system

Wave and band patterns, line iconography, permitted backgrounds, misuses to avoid and tone of voice.

  • Brembo Racing

    Brembo Racing

Series of Brembo circuit identity cards for Formula 1, MotoGP and Superbike
    All work

    Brembo Racing

For 14 years we have worked alongside Brembo’s racing department in Formula 1, MotoGP and Superbike, turning each circuit’s braking data into infographics for the media, the race press kit and the brand’s Media Library.

    Client
    Brembo N.V. · Racing
    Industry
    Automotive · Motorsport
    What we did
Circuit identity cards · Infographics and data visuals · Press kit and Media Library

    The context

Every race weekend, journalists around the world want to know how hard the brakes are working. Brembo’s circuit identity cards tell them at a glance, corner by corner.

For Brembo’s racing department we create the circuit identity cards for Formula 1, MotoGP and Superbike. We start from the engineers’ data — the toughest braking points, decelerations, braking times and power — and turn it into infographics that make every corner readable, in the brand’s visual language. We produce them in Italian and English for every round of the season: they go into the race press kit Brembo sends to the media and populate the Media Library on the website, where we also handle the asset uploads.

Three Brembo Racing circuit cards: Monaco, Jerez and Misano

    The challenge

    The knots to untie.

    1. 01

      A card for every race

Three championships, more than fifty rounds a season: every card must be ready and checked before the race weekend.

    2. 02

      Complex technical data

Speeds, braking distances, decelerations and power corner by corner: numbers to turn into a visual you can read at a glance.

    3. 03

      International audience

The cards reach newsrooms worldwide, in Italian and English, and must be clear even to someone flicking through them in a few seconds.

    4. 04

      One identity for three championships

Different circuits, categories and data, but a single image: every card must be recognisable as Brembo before you even read it.

    What we developed.

    1. 01

      Circuit identity cards

A drawn track map with the braking points highlighted, indicators of the load on the braking system and corner-by-corner data tables.

    2. 02

      Braking infographics

A system of icons, scales and colours that turns the engineers’ numbers into visual hierarchies: the figure that matters is seen first.

    3. 03

A graphic layout for each championship

Dedicated layouts for Formula 1, MotoGP and Superbike: they showcase the circuit and give the technical data maximum prominence, within the Brembo identity.

    4. 04

      Editions in two languages

Italian and English, laid out and checked for every round, ready for print and online.

    5. 05

Content for the race press kit

The cards go into the press kit Brembo sends to the media before every weekend, with formats and timings aligned to the racing department’s calendar.

    6. 06

      The brand’s Media Library

We upload the assets directly to the Media Library section of the Brembo website, ready to browse and download.

    The context

A university never stops: online lectures, the institutional portal, restricted areas, staff services. Behind it all, you need systems that are always available and people who know them inside out.

After winning the tender, we have worked alongside the IT Services of the Università degli Studi di Bergamo in managing its infrastructure and web platforms. We look after operating systems and application servers, the University’s portal and websites, the e-learning platform, single sign-on and integrations with management systems, as well as support and training for lecturers and staff. Under the tender awarded in 2024, we also handle institutional communication through the portal, the dedicated websites of departments, degree programmes and research centres, and information tools such as kiosks and displays.

    The challenge

    The knots to untie.

    1. 01

      Always-on services

The portal, e-learning and restricted areas are used every day by thousands of people: every outage affects teaching and administration.

    2. 02

      Mixed technologies

Windows, Linux and virtualised environments, different application servers, CMSs and platforms that must coexist and be kept up to date over time.

    3. 03

      Integration with the University

Single sign-on, the central directory and university management systems all need to talk to the portal and platforms.

    4. 04

      Redundant skills

Every activity must be covered by more than one trained person, to ensure continuity even when someone is away.

    The context

Hives vanish at night, far from everything. It took a system that raises the alarm at once, with no mains power and no WiFi.

According to the Italian Beekeepers’ Federation (FAI), over 22,000 hives are stolen in Italy every season. By the time the beekeeper notices the next morning, they are long gone. Apiaries are also scattered across fields and woods, so checking stores and yields means going there in person, hive by hive.

For EW Allarmi we handled the whole project: an anti-theft device with GPS, a smart scale and a platform that brings together the data from every hive.

Row of coloured hives in a field, on E-Weight scales

    The journey

Four stages, from component to customer.

    1. 01

      IoT hardware research

Before writing a line of code we searched for the most suitable components: board, LTE-M cellular modem, GPS, accelerometer, sensors and load cell all had to work in remote areas and use very little power.

    2. 02

Firmware and testing, over and over

Proprietary C++ firmware, rewritten and tested through 29 versions, with field trials in real apiaries: power use, false alarms and communication between components were refined version after version.

    3. 03

      The app

An installable web app: hive map, navigation to the apiary, weight and climate charts, thresholds and alarms. Alongside it, a desktop app for configuring devices in batches.

    4. 04

      The website

The website explains the problem and presents the two products, Alarm E-Hives and the E-Weight scale, with specifications, how they work and the platform.

Alarm E-Hives GPS tracker resting on the hive frames
EW Allarmi device fixed by magnets to the inside wall of the hive
    E-Weight scale under a hive

    The challenge

    The knots to untie.

    1. 01

      Electronics that wouldn’t talk

The scale module couldn’t communicate with the main board: weeks of diagnosis with an oscilloscope until the solution turned up, hidden in the datasheet.

    2. 02

      Years on a single battery

Board and modem had to go into true deep sleep and wake only when needed: under 50 µA at rest.

    3. 03

      False alarms

Recognising a theft without going off in a gust of wind: detection with five sensitivity levels and a 30-second confirmation.

    4. 04

      Use in the field

Device data that isn’t always uniform, several companies with separate data, and an interface that is readable outdoors, even with gloves on.

EW Allarmi app on two smartphones: devices and weight trend

    Tailored solutions

    What we developed.

    1. 01

      Alarm E-Hives

Anti-theft device with accelerometer and GPS: an SMS with a Google Maps link within 2 minutes and the position updated every minute while the hive is moving. Magnetic fixing, no screws.

    2. 02

      E-Weight scale

24-bit ADC and ±10 g accuracy over 100 kg. Weighings run at dawn and dusk, calculated every day from the hive’s actual GPS position.

    3. 03

      Proprietary firmware

Independent anti-theft and scale modes, persistent configuration and commands by SMS or USB: it works even without the app.

    4. 04

      Production configurator

A desktop app that recognises the device, loads the firmware, configures it and records IMEI, SIM, version and logs, with no technical skills needed.

    5. 05

      Platform and app

Hive positions on a map with guided navigation, weight trends, temperature and humidity, per-device thresholds, battery levels and message history, on computer or smartphone. An admin panel manages users, companies, apiaries and devices.

    6. 06

    The context

Since 1997 Triciclo has been collecting, sorting and recirculating used clothes and goods in Bergamo, creating jobs for vulnerable people. Shop, online store, classifieds, reuse centres and environmental services: one digital ecosystem.

Triciclo is the circular-economy arm of Cooperativa Impresa Sociale Ruah, a type A and B social cooperative. For the cooperative we brought scattered tools (an old e-commerce site, paper registers, separate management systems) together into a modern ecosystem, keeping the positioning built over the years and making it accessible to citizens, volunteers and staff.

    The world of Triciclo

    A shop, a workshop, a community.

Triciclo is more than a second-hand market: it is a complete reuse chain that brings together the environment, local services and work for people. Each channel has its own rules, and the digital side had to explain all of them clearly.

    1. Triciclo Store

The second-hand shop in Via Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto, Bergamo: clothing, furniture and homeware from donations and house clearances.

    2. Triciclo Selection

The online boutique for second-hand and vintage: one-off pieces selected, cleaned, repaired and photographed in the workshop, shipped or collected in store.

    3. Triciclo Exchange

The reuse board: free classifieds between private individuals plus items from the Reuse Centres, to book online and collect within seven days.

    4. Reuse Centres

Spaces run with local councils where residents drop off items that can still be used and take home what they need for free, with every item checked and catalogued.

    5. Environmental services

House clearances in Bergamo and the surrounding province, and collections of toner, cartridges, expired medicines, oils, clothing and textiles, with agreed schedules and paperwork.

    6. Academy and experiences

Educational programmes on reuse for schools, companies and families, the Green Generation project, the T-Impatto quiz and the intercultural walks of Migrantour Bergamo.

    7. T-CARD

The free loyalty card: one point for every euro spent and bonus points for donors, valid in store, on Selection and across the cooperative’s services.

    8. Work that includes

The shops and services also employ vulnerable people, supported on a career path together with local social services.

    The context

Twenty-year-old desktop archives, fragmented exports and paper case files. A single source of truth for the people who protect others’ rights.

We redesigned the association’s platform: migration and normalisation of historical data, member records, membership fees, files and cases, cash desk and reporting, with the highest confidentiality standards for health and personal data.

ANMIC Console member record on iMac, with personal data blurred

    The challenge

    The knots to untie.

    1. 01

      Inconsistent historical data

Over 30,000 records with incomplete addresses, alternative residences, legal guardians and mismatched tax codes.

    2. 02

      365-day memberships

Membership expires 365 days after payment, not at year end: lapsed renewals have to be identified precisely.

    3. 03

      Error-free accounting

Receipts numbered sequentially with no gaps or duplicates, even with several operators at the front desk.

    4. 04

      Sensitive health data

Disability files and medical reports kept separate between local branches, with access tracking.

    Tailored solutions

    3. 03

      Clean records

Tax code calculation and validation, ISTAT postcode and street directory, automatic choice of the mailing address.

    4. 04

      Documents in the cloud

    5. 05

    The context

Roller shutters, solar shading, shutter box units and insect screens: price lists with wildly different logic and quotes done by hand. The digital side had to speak to homeowners and work for professionals.

We handled the digital strategy, design and development of a single ecosystem: a portal with separate journeys for homeowners and professionals, a configurator for site orders and management software for quotes, price lists and customers, all under the Fenaroli Stefano brand.

    The website

A website that works on site too.

Fenaroli Stefano supplies solar shading and window systems to homeowners and trade professionals. The website supports both, from choosing a product to gathering the data needed for an accurate quote.

    1. Products clearly explained

Product sheets covering structure, controls, fixing and applicable standards, so you can compare, say, a folding-arm awning with a cassette awning.

    2. Technical area

For window installers and designers: fillable PDF survey forms for roller shutters and boxes, window junctions and monoblock units, awnings, louvres and insect screens.

    3. On-site tools

Calculators for roll diameter, curtain weight and motor torque, to see at a glance whether an existing shutter box will be big enough.

    4. Colour preview

An on-screen preview of the finishes, to narrow down colours and profiles before asking for the real colour chart.

    5. Technical questions

Answers to the most common questions about profiles, materials, costs and motorisation.

    6. Requests in the management system

Website requests arrive in a single list sorted by status, and the quote opens directly from there.

    The challenge

    The knots to untie.

    1. 01

      Two different audiences

Homeowners focused on design, tax deductions and comfort; window fitters, contractors and architects with specifications, tolerances and complex orders.

    2. 02

      Complex price lists

Width × height grids, prices per square metre with minimum billable sizes, colour surcharges and cascading discounts.

    3. 03

      Protected pricing

Professionals fill in their orders on the public website without prices or mark-up logic ever being exposed.

    4. 04

      Privacy and campaigns

Cookie consent compliant with the Garante (Italian Data Protection Authority) guidelines, without losing advertising campaign measurement.

    1. 01

      “Site order” configurator

Multi-item orders for roller shutters and insect screens, with real-time validation of catalogue size limits and 41 certified finishes.

    2. 02

      Tested calculation engine

Size matrices, minimum billable sizes, cascading discounts, accessories, installation and transport, all verified by automated tests.

    3. 03

      Error-proof quotes

Draft, sent, accepted and rejected statuses; lines locked once sent, revision history and an A4 PDF ready to sign.

    4. 04

      Price lists imported with AI

Artificial intelligence reads PDF price lists, proposes the calculation rules and asks the operator to confirm: no development work needed.

    5. 05

      Virtual assistant

A chatbot trained on the catalogue guides customers through preliminary sizing and product choice.

    6. 06
