Teknet S.r.l. is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the European standard EN 301 549 and the principles of Law 4/2004 (Legge Stanca, the Italian accessibility law) and the European Accessibility Act.

How we designed the website

• Semantic structure: a single main heading per page, an orderly heading hierarchy, and identified navigation and content areas.
• Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link at the start of every page.
• Text-to-background contrast compliant with level AA; text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content.
• Alternative text for informative images; decorative images are ignored by assistive technologies.
• Forms with labels, instructions and error messages that can also be read by screen readers.
• Animations reduced or paused for users who have enabled the “reduce motion” preference in their operating system.
• Responsive layout, usable on smartphones, tablets and computers, in portrait and landscape orientation.

How we test

The website is tested with automated tools (Google Lighthouse and checks against WCAG rules) and with manual testing using the keyboard and a screen reader. Some third-party services, such as the cookie consent banner, embedded content and the external pages we link to, are not under our direct control: if you encounter a barrier in these parts, let us know and we will help you obtain the information in another way.
